Maxime Docteur

Maxime Docteur is a doctoral student in medieval musicology at the University of Montpellier (France). For the past ten years, he has been studying Gregorian chant with Damien Poisblaud, who, through his rigorous approach to medieval modality, led him to discover the beauty of Gregorian chant. He co-founded the ensemble “Les Rossinholets,” with which he performs concerts of medieval music. Today, Maxime teaches Gregorian chant and regularly organizes workshops to teach this practice.
