Sr. Narjis Henti

Sister Narjis Henti is a nun of the Chaldean Church and a musicologist currently working in Iraq with the Congregation of the Daughters of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus (Figlie del Sacro Cuore di Gesù). She received her musical education at the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music in Rome and further specialized in Jewish and Chaldean music studies at the University of Ravenna in Bologna.

Her work includes both historical research and practical teaching, leading liturgical choirs, and adapting ancient sources. She has also recorded several liturgical music albums, including Teshbohta Khathta (2015), one of the first modern professional collections of Chaldean Church hymns.
